SPH comprises 95 beds with 5 operating theatres and a procedure room providing a high standard of acute surgical and medical care/services to the community of Western Australia.

Ongoing Professional and Personal Development

SPH promotes and will endeavour to assist any staff member to participate in work related continuing education programs to develop and enhance knowledge and skills and contribute to best practice in care and service delivery.

In addition to a comprehensive Orientation Program, an annual mandatory education program is conducted for all staff.  All staff are required to participate in regular performance reviews which may assist to identify opportunities for development and training.
